How it works (and what your browser allows)
Browsers only permit one window.open() per user click by default, so opening 50 tabs in one go would normally hit the popup blocker. We sidestep this by firing the first tab synchronously (which Chrome, Firefox and Safari all permit) and staggering the rest behind a small configurable delay. On the very first run you may still see a one-time prompt asking if this site can show popups. Once you allow it, future runs are silent.
